Students and recent alumni can set up appointments with a career counselor through Handshake. To sign in, use your Bethel login and password and look for the Career Center tab. Alumni who do not have a login can contact IT to reset their bethel account at 651.638.6500.

Hayley Schevenius
Career Specialist | MBTI® Certified Practitioner
Hayley works with undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni in the areas of career exploration, resumes, networking, interview prep, and more.
Education background: BA in International Studies- Social Science emphasis from Cedarville University
Interest Areas: Business, English/Literature, and Leadership
Appointment Types: Career Path Discussion, Interview Preparation, Resume Review, and SII/MBTI Interpretation
Hobbies: MN Wild Hockey and Reading

Jan Mrozinski, M.Ed., M.A.
Career Specialist & Adjunct Faculty
Jan works with alumni and current undergraduate and graduate students as they explore career pathways, choose majors, create resumes and cover letters, search for jobs and internships, and explore their unique personalities and interests. As a Career Specialist, Jan draws on her own experiences of taking a career break, switching majors, and making multiple career shifts.
Education Background: M.Ed. in Education from Bethel University, M.A. in Professional Counseling from Colorado Christian University, B.A. in Individual/Family Studies with a minor in Business Management from Kent State University
Interest Areas: Special education, mental health, course development

Stan Thompson, MBA
Director of Vocation, Pathways and Partnerships
Stan has 20+ years of leadership and people development experience in banking, churches, a private school, and a disability services nonprofit. At Bethel, Stan supports our Career Specialists and works to enhance the services we offer to best align with the career development needs of all Bethel students. This happens through connecting and collaborating with Bethel faculty and staff, as well as alumni and partner organizations to provide opportunities for Bethel students to prepare for the work that God has uniquely designed them to do. Stan is a 2021 graduate of Bethel’s MBA program and has a BA in music with an emphasis in guitar performance.
