Bethel in a Century of Wars: 1914-2014
9:30-10 a.m. | Refreshments | AC Lounge (Academic Center Level 2) | $3

From World War I to the ongoing war on terror, our nation has experienced a century of war. Learn from pictures and stories about the impact of these wars on Bethel and its people. Dr. Chris Gehrz and Fletcher Warren will discuss the particular impact of World War II and the Vietnam War. Their presentation is based on findings from their Edgren Scholars Award research project, “Bethel at War, 1914-2014: A Digital History of a Christian College in the Modern Era of Warfare.” Dr. Stan Anderson will share about the many military chaplains from the Baptist General Conference/Converge.
