Event Description

Get ready to be inspired by Age of Champions, an award-winning PBS documentary that follows some of the competitors going for gold at the National Senior Olympics (coming this summer to the Twin Cities!). These grandparents and great-grandparents can show us all a thing or two about staying active and healthy. The Washington Post calls the movie “infectiously inspiring.” See for yourself.

After the 75-minute movie, admissions staff and gerontology faculty will be on hand to help you learn more about Bethel’s certificate and master’s programs in gerontology and how they can prepare you for rewarding work in service and leadership in this changing and growing field. Well-trained gerontologists with a broad range of skills are in high demand.

Also, stop by our BC info table on April 7 and 8, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and talk with gerontology students, alumni, and faculty about their experiences. Find out if a career in aging and gerontology is a good choice for you.
