Event Description
Nurse-midwifery is an important medical field that will only grow in demand as our health environment changes. Certified nurse-midwives specialize in providing healthcare to women of all ages including primary care as well as prenatal, birth, newborn, and gynecological care. A nurturing presence to women and families, nurse-midwives practice in clinics, hospitals, and birth centers. Certified nurse-midwives work on the front lines of primary care with under-served communities and in urban and rural settings, providing women-centered care to women in all stages of life.
