For the safety and wellbeing of Bethel community members and guests, please observe the following:
  • Consistent with CDC and MDH guidelines, face coverings are recommended, regardless of vaccination status, indoors when 6' social distancing cannot be maintained. Face coverings are required while in academic settings (classrooms, labs, etc) when 6' distancing cannot be maintained.
  • There are currently no capacity restrictions on the size of university events, but Bethel community members and guests are strongly encouraged to consider distancing to the extent possible to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Event Description

Alumni, supporters of science at Bethel, and their families are invited to join professors and students as we celebrate the most significant facility upgrades in 50 years!

  • See the new physics and engineering labs in the Barnes Academic Center.
  • Tour the new chemistry, biochemistry, and biology labs in the Nelson-Larson Science Center.
  • Reconnect with faculty members and talk to current students about their research and lab work.
  • Bring your family if you wish, and enjoy interactive lab activities and demonstrations!
  • Hear plans for the next phase to include additional labs in biology and neuroscience.

Light refreshments will be served in the Barnes Academic Center lounge.
