Event Description
This two-day retreat is open to CAS, CAPS, Seminary, and GS students who are in a serious relationship (e.g., married, engaged, in a committed relationship, or seriously dating). The registration cost covers retreat sessions, three meals, and all materials. The retreat also includes a required follow-up "date night" event, which includes a free dinner and special event, plus a gift card just for attending!

About the Retreat Speakers
Jeff and Mary Sanders make their home in St. Paul. They have been married for thirty-three years, are licensed marriage and family therapists, and have three adult daughters and four grandchildren. Jeff is an ordained minister and counselor and has served in pastoral and educational roles over the past twenty-six years. Mary is a therapist who has worked in various educational and therapeutic settings. Jeff and Mary work with students at Bethel University and Seminary providing counseling resources and assisting students in their spiritual and personal formation. They teach in the areas of pastoral care, marriage and family therapy, and spiritual and personal formation. They believe that marriage is a journey and are grateful to God for the many people who have journeyed with them over the past thirty-three years. They feel strongly about encouraging couples and believe that every couple and every marriage is unique.
