40th Anniversary Celebration of Bethel University Nursing

In 1979, a proposal was made to develop a B.A. in Nursing at Bethel College. The first nursing majors arrived on campus in fall 1980. In spring 1984, 46 students became the first nursing class to graduate from Bethel College. Today, Bethel University's three nursing programs serve more than 300 students on an annual basis, led by 23 full-time faculty, 11 office and lab staff, and numerous adjunct faculty, with state-of-the-art nursing skills and simulation labs at both our 3900 and Anderson Center campuses.

We invite all alumni and current and former faculty and staff to come together on Saturday, October 12 at the Lakeside Center (formerly Bethel Seminary) to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Nursing at Bethel University. Doors open at 9 a.m. Grab a bite to eat while you visit with classmates and catch up with current and former faculty and staff. We'll gather from 9:45-10:30 a.m. in the chapel for a program, with additional time to mingle from 10:30-11 a.m. Following our scheduled time together you'll have the opportunity to tour our nursing skills and simulation labs at both 3900 and Anderson Center locations. (Shuttles will be available.) Feel free to also enjoy the other festivities happening on campus during Homecoming + Family Weekend.

Make sure to register by October 3! Cost is $10 per person, which includes a light breakfast.
