Event Description
Join artist M. Gasby Brown and Bethel University President Ross Allen for a lively conversation about the exhibit in the Bethel University Library which is on display through the end of March. The exhibit, Backstage Barriers and Beyond, celebrates the separate, but equal activist story singers, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Lena Horne, Mahalia Jackson, and Alicia Keys.
The program will also include a musical medley tribute performed by Bethel student musical artists Aniya Robertson and Esther Adeniyi.
