Event Description
The faith/science mini-conference is an annual collaboration between Bethel University and Crown College that seeks to foster learning and dialogue around important questions at the intersection of Christianity and the sciences. This year's conference will address Christian perspectives on bioethics.
The keynote speaker for the conference is Dr. C. Christopher Hook, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of Ethics Education at the Mayo Clinic Office of Ethics (retired). Attendees at past conferences have included employees and students from both Bethel and Crown, local church members, members of the local North Star chapter of the American Scientific Affiliation, Bethel and Crown alumni, individuals from local churches and/or the community, and prospective students.
The tentative schedule for this year's event includes three lectures from Dr. Hook, opportunities for roundtable conversation, and an opportunity for prayerful reflection to close the final session.
