Event Description
About the Show
Jeff Wetzig's woodcut prints examine shredded paper from his bills, receipts, credit card offers, and other personal information sent to him by others. He explores different possible meanings through both chance and intentional compositions. Wetzig has chosen to work in the woodcut medium for the obvious relation between wood and paper as well as his interest in observing how the oldest mass printing medium can replicate the work of the newest.
