Senior Recitals - Michaela Pfeifer, voice, and Ella Johnson, piano

The Department of Music presents vocalist Michaela Pfeifer, student of Cheryl Oie, and pianist Ella Johnson, student of Herbert Johnson, in senior recitals. Michaela, accompanied by Emily Urban, will sing works by Robert Schumann, John Alden Carpenter, W.A. Mozart, and a section of songs by Russian composers. Ella will play works by Domenico Scarlatti, L.V. Beethoven, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Robert Muczynski. Lydia Shull will join Ella to perform Ravel's 4-hand piano work, Ma Mere l'Oye (Mother Goose Suite). The recital is free and open to the public. A reception will be held in the Loggia immediately following the performance.
