Shoreview Northern Lights Variety Band

The Shoreview Northern Lights Variety Band (SNLVB) presents its annual holiday concert. This year's concert, Musical Yuletide, features seasonal and sacred musical favorites, two guest artists, and plenty of fun. The band is excited to perform with Jeff Whitmill to bring the beloved "A Christmas Carol" to life with music and narration. Mr. Whitmill is an accomplished Twin Cities musician, conductor, and founder of the St. Barnabas Center for the Arts in Plymouth, Minnesota. For the second consecutive year, the band welcomes The Minnesota Saints Chorale, with the batons of Barbara Thibaudeau, Artistic Director and Conductor and Jan Hendrickson, Assistant Director, as its featured musical guests. The Minnesota Saints Chorale is a 70-voice, audition choir composed of musicians from the Twin Cities and surrounding area.

The Shoreview Northern Lights Variety Band is a premier adult community band based in Shoreview, Minnesota. It has a membership of over 80 adult volunteer musicians. Dr. Michael Scott is the Music Director. The SNLVB is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization and governed by an elected Board of Directors.
