Tips from previous residency participants

Read all your books prior to residency. This will really help your learning and assignment completion during residency.
Be sure to purchase your StrengthsFinder 2.0 book new. There is an access code associated with each new book that will be used for the online assessment.
Having a car is highly recommended.
Bring your laptop or iPad.
The library is a great quiet area for studying.
Work hard to get all your homework done while at residency. The break afterward is very needed for rest from residency and preparing for work.
Do not be concerned about not knowing anyone; most first-year cohort members don’t know anyone, either.
