Can evangelical Christians remain faithful to their core convictions and also be engaged in an honest, respectful, and productive dialogue with established contemporary science? Is there a way to bring science and the church together that doesn't lead to conflict or denial? Bethel University’s Intersections program is devoted to exploring and promoting an affirmative answer to this question, for the sake of the gospel and the future of the Church.
The Summit on Origins is a 2-day educational conference to present and promote a vision of evangelical theology and science in productive dialogue. The Summit will explore the question of origins from multiple angles, including biblical, historical, cosmological, biological, and theological perspectives. This multifaceted approach seeks to counter prevailing assumptions of conflict and offer an alternative approach to dialogue that is both biblically faithful and scientifically responsible.
