Connect with Your Student

It can be a challenge for parents and families to find the right balance between giving students space and encouraging them during college. Here are a few ideas to help you.

Gift Bags and Gift Cards

Celebrate a special day, acknowledge an achievement, or just send a needed perk. Whatever the reason, it's easy to let your student know you're thinking of them! Send an Everyday Encouragement Gift Bag or a Bethel Campus Store gift card to your student.

Fresh-Baked Treats

Want to give your student a boost during finals, or order a birthday cake to celebrate their big day? Our bakers love nothing more than to make cakes, bars, and other fresh-baked treats just for Bethel students. Order a special treat for your student and send along a personal message.

Valentine's Day Gifts

Send a gift of encouragement to your Bethel student on Valentine's Day. Each Valentine's Day gift is personally assembled by the Alumni and Family Relations Team. Your student will receive an email and a notice in their PO Box to stop by Brushaber Commons to pick up their gift and a personalized note from you.

Send a Letter or Care Package

We want to help you stay connected to your Bethel student during their college experience. While emails, texts, and phone calls are easy ways to stay in touch, written letters and care packages can be an unexpected blessing and encouragement.

For mail via the U.S. Postal Service, please address your letter or package like this:

Student Name MSC xxxx

St. Paul MN 55112-6999

Tim Hammer MSC 2352

MSC 2352 refers to "Mail Stop Code" and your student's mailbox number. Bethel mailboxes are owned by Bethel University—not the United States Postal Service. Please don't use "PO BOX" or "PO #" in your address.

When sending packages via an alternative shipping provider (such as UPS or FedEx), please use the same address standards.
