What is your favorite thing about Bethel University?
My favorite thing about Bethel is the strong sense of community. People genuinely care about one another, and that creates such a supportive and encouraging environment for students, faculty, and staff.
What do you enjoy most about working with early college students?
I really enjoy seeing early college students discover their potential and gain confidence as they take on the challenge of college-level work. Most of all, I want students to know that I truly care about them, not just academically, but as individuals. It’s rewarding to watch them grow both personally and academically during such a pivotal time in their lives.
Before working at Bethel, what were you doing?
After graduating from Bethel, I served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member, helping to expand college access for low-income students in the Twin Cities. In that role, I built partnerships with schools and community organizations, developed programs to meet student needs, and created tools to measure success. I loved the work I was doing, and that passion is what brought me back to Bethel to continue supporting students in their journey.
