Why Human Kinetics and Applied Health Science at Bethel?
The goal of our human kinetics and applied health science programs is to develop whole and holy persons who will be salt and light as ambassadors for Jesus Christ. Students are equipped to develop a wellness model that includes physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects.
Highlights of our programs include:
- Hands-on experience. Our curriculum is designed for students to gain experience outside the typical classroom setting through teaching experiences, simulations, internships, and research in our student-run Human Performance Lab.
- Student organization. Our students can participate in organizations that enhance their specific areas of study, including the Bethel University Student Athletic Training Society (BUSATS) and the Bethel University Exercise Science Club.
- Research. We strive to give students the opportunity to collaborate with faculty members on meaningful research projects.
