The Department of Nursing, Social Work, and Community Health

The Department of Nursing, Social Work, and Community Health is all about caring for the wellbeing of others and providing them with the help and resources they need to flourish. Our graduates are compassionate, skilled professionals, who change the world around them every day. If you feel called to serve people and their communities, consider the following areas of study.

Nursing

Bethel's nursing program prepares nurses who will provide a Christ-like presence in healthcare settings locally and around the world. You’ll gain leadership skills in nursing practice and education so you’re ready to serve a diverse and changing society with excellence.

Social Work

The social work program prepares you to work compassionately with clients to understand their strengths, assess their needs, and provide intervention and resources. Our program is built on a Christian perspective that considers social justice, reconciliation, ethical practices, and human rights, honoring the dignity and worth of all persons.

Community Health

The community health program promotes health and wellness with an emphasis on prevention, life-long learning, and the acquisition of knowledge, attitudes, and skills that can be integrated into a holistic lifestyle.
