October 1, 2022

• Free Application for Federal Student aid (FAFSA) available for 2023-2024.

January 9, 2023

• Bethel starts sending financial aid offers for new/prospective students for the upcoming school year.

January 15, 2023

• Application deadline for the Physics & Engineering Scholarships.
• Application deadline for Arts & Humanities Scholarships.
• Application deadline for Finance Scholarships.
• Application deadline for Actuarial Science & Finance Scholarship.

January 31, 2023

• Application deadline for the Faith in Action Scholarships.
• Application deadline for the Fight for Something Scholarships.

February 1, 2023

• Application deadline for the Music Performance Scholarships.

February 10, 2023

• Departmental Scholarship applications are due for returning students.

March 1, 2023

Bethel CAS Financial Aid Application due. If not received by this date, we will prepare your financial aid package assuming you don't have other factors that should be considered (leadership experience; first generation college student; legacy connection to Bethel; your parents are not pastors or missionaries). Current CAS students should NOT complete this form.

March 1, 2023

• Application deadline for Holman Chemistry Scholarships.

April 15, 2023

• Priority deadline for new students to apply for financial aid for the upcoming academic year. (Later applications will be processed, but may received reduced funding).

Late-April, 2023

• Bethel starts sending financial aid offers for returning students.

May 15, 2023

• Student Employment Application due for new students
• Priority deadline for returning students to apply for financial aid for the upcoming academic year.

June 1, 2023

• Application deadline for the George Floyd Scholarship.

July 1, 2023

• We recommend all familes submit verification materials by July 1, prior to starting the fall term.
• Begin all loan processes by this date to ensure funds will be received in time for the beginning of fall term.

July 15, 2023

• Enrollment opens for the optional monthly payment plan for fall semester.

August 1, 2023

• Partnership Scholarship forms and matching funds checks due for church partnership scholarships.

August 25, 2023

• Bill due for fall 2023 semester. Classes begin on Monday, August 28.
• Enrollment Checklist due.

September 19, 2023

• The Financial Aid Office begins adjusting aid for students who do not meet eligibility requirements (e.G. enrolled less than full time; and MN State Grant adjustments).

December 1, 2023

• Last day to request a federal loan for fall 2023 (Direct Subsidized, Unsubsidized, or PLUS).

January 4, 2024

• Enrollment opens for the optional monthly payment plan for spring semester.

January 25, 2024

• Bill due for spring semester.
• Enrollment Checklist due for Spring 2024 semester.

February 10, 2024

• Departmental Scholarship Applications are due for returning students.

February 21, 2024

• Bethel begins adjusting aid for Spring 2024 for students who do not meet eligibility requirements (e.g., enrolled less than full time; and Minnesota State Grant adjustments).

March 31, 2024

• Deadline for appeals for reduced income or unusual financial conditions for the 2023-2024 academic year.

April 12, 2024

• Private loans take at least 30 days to process so if you need a private loan for Spring 2024 be sure to apply by this date.

May 10, 2024

• Last day to request a federal loan for Spring 2024 (Direct Subsidized, Unsubsidized, or PLUS).

June 30, 2024

• Deadline to complete the 2023-2024 FAFSA.
