It takes just 3 steps to figure out where you're living at Bethel. If you have any questions along the way, contact us.

  1. Apply for housing

Apply online through MyBethel (click the Housing & Meals link in the Tools & Resources menu). On the application, you will be able to list your residence hall preferences. This step puts your name in our housing system and lets us know you're living on campus.

  2. Choose your roommate (optional)

Check out a few specifics if you're a first-year student, transfer student, or PSEO student.

Choose your roommate by visiting your MyHousing page through MyBethel (click the Housing & Meals link in the Tools & Resources menu).

See the roommate selection instructions for what to do once you're logged in to MyHousing

All roommate requests must be mutual—both you and your roommate have to complete this step. Don't have a roommate? That's normal. Most new students don't. You'll be paired with another new student when you are assigned to a room.

Bethel does not use a "roommate matching" survey. You can ask your admissions counselor about tools they know students are using (i.e., Instagram, etc.) or admissions events that could be a great place to meet other new students.

  3. Room Assignment

You will be assigned to a room based on your hall preferences. Priority is based on the application submission date. Room assignments will be finalized by mid-June and posted on your MyHousing page. In addition to your room assignment, you will be able to see your roommate's name and Bethel email.
