Instructional designers can help programs effectively communicate the quality of their curricula in accreditation processes.


Consultation is available for new and existing programs that are going through an initial accreditation application or re-accreditation. Program directors and administrators seeking accreditation or re-accreditation can schedule an appointment with an instructional designer.

The services provided in accreditation consulations may include assistance with:

  • Outcome writing and alignment
  • Outcome assessment strategy
  • Outcome assessment reporting
  • Coordination with university-specific curriculum design requirements (e.g., faculty approval)
  • Collaboration on accreditation application
  • Participation in accreditation visits (and response to accreditor questions)
