With more than 20 years dedicated to pastoral ministry, spiritual leadership, and life coaching, Rev. Dr Joshua O. Carroll thoroughly delights in helping people from all walks of life, intentionally engage their entire soul in relationship with the triune God and people in community. After earning his PhD in New Testament from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland—and two master’s degrees, one in Theology and one in Spiritual Formation from Talbot School of Theology, he continues to bridge rigorous scholarship with authentic spiritual practice by stepping into the roles of Program Director for the Doctorate of Ministry and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Care and Formation at Bethel Seminary. Married to Melodie for 25 years, and the father of three sons (ages 22, 19, and 17), he’s also known for his enthusiasm for Football, the proper kind where the foot is actually used for the majority of the game. At the core of his work is a deep desire to help people awaken to the promise of the Holy Spirit’s presence and experience flourishing in community. Most recently, Rev. Dr. Carroll served as Lead Pastor for Ethnos Bible Church in Richardson, TX where he led the church through a formational process of revitalization, restructuring, and relaunching.

Biography
With more than 20 years dedicated to pastoral ministry, spiritual leadership, and life coaching, Rev. Dr Joshua O. Carroll thoroughly delights in helping people from all walks of life, intentionally engage their entire soul in relationship with the triune God and people in community.
After earning his PhD in New Testament from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland—and two master’s degrees, one in Theology and one in Spiritual Formation from Talbot School of Theology, he continues to bridge rigorous scholarship with authentic spiritual practice by stepping into the roles of Program Director for the Doctorate of Ministry and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Care and Formation at Bethel Seminary.
