Biography

Kevin Bovitz has taught in the Department of Biological Sciences here at Bethel since Spring 2025 as an adjunct faculty member. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Science University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of MN, Duluth. He has spent 28 years in clinical practice before transitioning to higher education. Kevin teaches Integrative Biology (BIO128) and Human Biology (BIO104) where he is excited about helping students connect and develop their understanding of science and faith. He enjoys mentoring students and encouraging curiosity both in the classroom and lab.  

Kevin has been married for 27 years, has two sons, and a lovable Aussie doodle - Luna. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, biking, traveling, cooking/baking, and spending time outdoors with his family.
