Event Description
An exhibition of large-scale paintings and intimate drawings guest-curated by Professor Wayne Roosa. Each work is a meditation on the spaces between things.
A reception in the Olson Gallery follows the talk.
About the Artist
Duane Ditty has a Master's of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has exhibited at The National Galleries of Scotland (Edinburgh), The Madison Art Center (Madison, WI), The Minnetonka Center for the Arts, and The Bloomington Art Center. Duane Ditty's paintings are held in corporate and private collections in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He recently completed a commission of 30 paintings for Nordstrom stores across the country. He is a member of Rosalux Gallery in Northeast Minneapolis and has worked from a studio at the Northrup King Building since 1996.
