Event Description

The program includes:

Sonata for Two Pianists (Two Pianos), Claude Bolling
     assisted by Ian Allison, bass, and Zach Miller, drums
Scaramouche, Darius Milhaud
Three Movements for Two Pianos, Jonathan Veenker
     (premiere performance)

Sohriakoff holds the Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota. Classically trained, she plays and teaches a broad range of music. She is an experienced worship leader, playing piano and leading vocally--from contemporary chord charts to hymns and classical works.

Johnson holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from Manhattan School of Music and teaches piano, piano theory, and piano pedagogy at Bethel University. He is an active solo and collaborative pianist in the Twin Cities and participates in numerous musical activities in the metropolitan area, including chamber music recitals, worship services, and sacred concerts.
