Event Description
The Department of Music presents Luke Arend, student of Herbert Johnson, in an elective recital. Luke will play the following program:
Johann Sebastian Bach, Prelude No. 1 in C Major (from the "Well-Tempered Clavier, BWV846")
Franz Liszt, Ave Maria (from "12 Lieder von Franz Schubert, S.558")
Sergei Rachmaninoff, Etude No. 5 in E-Flat Minor, "Apassionato" (from "Etudes-Tableaux, Op. 39")
Two Vocal Selections performed by Sarah Arend
Vincenzo Bellini, Oh! Quante Volte (from "I Capuleti e i Montecchi")
Lili Boulanger, Reflets
Frederic Chopin, Polonaise in A-Flat Major, Op. 53
Maurice Ravel, Toccata (from "Le tombeau de Couperin")
