Event Description
The Department of Music and Performing Arts proudly presents the 2025 Concerto-Aria Competition Recital. Held annually, this event features student musicians competing for the opportunity to perform with the Festival Orchestra in the Classics in the Great Hall concert. Participants will perform before a distinguished panel of judges and have the opportunity to showcase their skills through solo performances of concertos or arias, demonstrating not only their technical proficiency but also their artistic interpretation and stage presence. In addition to the honor of performing with the orchestra, first- and second-place winners will receive cash prizes, recognizing their outstanding musical achievement and dedication.
Join us for an evening of musical excellence and support our talented students as they demonstrate their dedication and skill.
Eligibility: Any Bethel University student currently enrolled for 2024-2025 and currently studying privately with Music and Performing Arts department faculty. A student may win the First Prize award a maximum of 2 times during their college career on the same instrument.
