Program Highlights

IB Certification

Students become eligible for the International Baccalaureate Certificate in Teaching and Learning granted by IB with an emphasis in the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), or Diploma Programme (DP). Credits may also be applied to Bethel’s M.A. in Education K-12.

Learn a student-focused approach

IB certification focuses on an individualized approach that encourages student-led learning for the 21st century. Become a teacher-leader who champions this method of education in your setting.

Join a global network

With over 3,900 IB schools and access to the IB’s online curriculum center that provides up-to-date developments in IB across the globe, earning an IB certificate in teaching and learning will place you in a growing network of IB teachers around the world.

Free course resources

We’ve eliminated all course resource costs for the IB certificate program. Instead of buying textbooks, you’ll save time and money with access to free digital Open Educational Resources and Library eResources.

The IB certificate is completed fully online and is designed for students who work full time, have families, and are involved in their communities. You can take courses as a stand-alone certificate, or you can use the credits as a concentration in Bethel’s M.A. in Education K-12 program.
