Requesting and billing

Bethel University Library (MNK)

We prefer to receive requests via OCLC, but will accept ALA forms by fax or email. we are a free or reciprocal lender. Requests for reciprocal agreements are welcome.

Schedule

Our office is staffed Monday - Friday. We are open all year with typical holiday closings. The office is closed between Christmas and New Year's Day.

Items Loaned

  • Books (except rare, fragile or Special Collections)
  • Theses
  • Cassettes
  • Music scores

Unavailable for Loan

  • Reference
  • Videos
  • CDs (music or computer software)
  • LPs
  • Special Collections: archives, curriculum materials, reserves materials

Available for photocopying (up to 25 pages)

  • Periodicals
  • Microfilm, microfiche
  • Newspapers

Returnable loans

  • All items are shipped at Library Rate
  • Loan period is 6 weeks on most items
  • One renewal for four additional weeks if there are no holds on the item
  • All lost items are charged $65

Non-returnable loans

  • Please check our serial holdings in OCLC
  • We will Ariel or mail photocopy paper or microform articles up to 25 pages at no charge
  • If you provide an Ariel address, we will provide suitable material via Ariel
