Bethel's Head Baseball Coach Featured on WCCO

Twins infielder turned coach; Head Coach Brian Raabe never strayed far from baseball. He spent 11 seasons coaching high school baseball part-time while working full-time as a banker.
He eventually left the banking field for Royal’s field; and in 2012 took the Bethel Royals to the playoffs for the first time in 12 years. Coach Raabe brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for the game to the Bethel program that hasn’t gone unnoticed. Twin Cities television and radio station WCCO (CBS Local) featured Coach Raabe on their program to reflect on his career and move to Bethel University. See full story here.
The 2012 Bethel University baseball season came to an end on May 12 as the Royals fell to the University of St. Thomas in the first elimination game of the MIAC Playoffs
