A Sunday article in the Star Tribune’s Variety section highlights the Bethel University Inclusive Learning and Development (BUILD) program—a two-year, residential program for students with intellectual disabilities.
Students Billy Hillman, Maggie Erickson, and Sam Kohs are featured as they explain what it’s like to participate in the BUILD program and to be part of the Bethel community. Program director Dawn Allen talks about the program itself and Bethel trustee Julie White provides background on how BUILD got started at Bethel.
