Bethel Makes Lists for “Top Value” and “Safest Campus”

Bethel was included recently on two national lists for “top value” and “safest campus.”

When prospective students and their families are asked what they’re looking for in a college, two qualities that often make the top of the list are good value and a safe campus. According to two recent national surveys, Bethel makes the grade on both.

The business publication Kiplinger released its list of top 100 private university values in the U.S., and for the first time Bethel was on the list at 98. To determine the list of 100 schools, Kiplinger takes data on nearly 1,200 public and private four-year colleges and narrows the list based on the following academic qualities: competitiveness, graduation rates, academic support, cost and financial aid, and student indebtedness.

In January, Business Insider reported a list of 25 safest college campuses in America as compiled by the college-review site Niche. Bethel was ranked 23. The ranking assessed the health and safety of a college campus by taking into account campus crime rates, local crime rates, and student reviews.
