Bethel's College of Adult & Professional Studies Lowers Tuition Costs

Lowering Tuition Costs for College of Adult & Professional Studies | Bethel University

The College of Adult & Professional Studies will eliminate all fees and make the costs per credit more consistent across all programs for the 2017-18 academic year.

Bethel University’s College of Adult & Professional Studies has simplified costs for students, lowering the cost per credit and eliminating all fees. The new costs go into effect with the fall semester 2017.

“We are lowering our tuition and eliminating fees because we’re committed to offering a high-quality academic experience in our adult undergraduate programs at a rate that’s affordable and accessible for our students,” says Randy Bergen, associate provost for the College of Adult & Professional Studies, Bethel Seminary, and Graduate School.

Bergen and other university leaders hope these changes will allow students to better anticipate the costs associated with adult undergraduate education. All programs will drop or remain the same at $430 per credit except for nursing. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing will be $495 per credit. For a complete list of programs and costs, visit the College of Adult & Professional Studies financial aid website.

Bethel is in the process of making other changes to academic programs in the College of Adult & Professional Studies and the Graduate School that will allow students to start a program at a time that is convenient for them. By Fall 2018, students will be able to start a program every six weeks or less.
