Alumni and Family Relations Specialist
My history with Bethel goes back to the fall of 1995, when I arrived on campus as a freshman. I graduated in 1999 with a B.A. in Communication.
Before returning to work at Bethel in May 2011, I worked in Christian radio and church ministry. I also attended seminary, where I earned a Master of Divinity degree with emphases in worship and pastoral counseling.
The best part of my job
The best part of my job is connecting with Bethel students, alumni, families, and colleagues. There are so many amazing people in the Bethel community, and I love hearing their stories of how God brought them to Bethel and how He is working in and through their lives.
My favorite Bethel experiences
I have tons of great Bethel memories. I fondly remember leading a RIOT Bible study group, playing powder puff football, serving as a Welcome Week leader, attending Chapel and Vespers, taking a January course in Amsterdam, and going on a Habitat for Humanity trip over spring break. Most of all, I am thankful for the incredible friendships that I developed at Bethel.
In my free time
When I'm not working, I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy singing, reading, entertaining, running, skiing, and fishing with my husband Jeff on Minnesota's beautiful lakes.
