Engage: Professional Development for Ministry Leaders

At Bethel Seminary, we want to see ministry leaders like you succeed as you seek to be salt and light and help others become world-changers.

So we’re offering a professional development program called Engage.

Engage is about connecting with today’s leaders as you engage your church, community, and family. It is a journey of spiritual learning that will enrich your life, leadership, and service.

What will you learn?

• In our professional development program, you will:
• Gain a big picture understanding of the Bible, giving you context for all its details and stories.
• Explore the nine areas of theology that contribute to a Christian worldview.
• Study how Christian teaching responds to the big issues of our day.
• Grow spiritually.

What are the program details?

The following is an overview of what you can expect during the program:

• Lead Faculty Dr. David Clark and other Bethel faculty members will teach each session.
• Each session will include lecture and group discussion.
• You will write reflections on your theological views and receive feedback on your ideas.
• The program will meet for 2 hours on Monday nights from September through May.
• All program materials will be provided to you at the first session.
