Youth ministry is about more than changing lives. It’s about changing eternal destinies.
The Young Life Youth Ministry Certificate is designed for students who are serving on staff for Young Life. Courses you have already completed as part of the Young Life program apply to this certificate so that you can earn your certificate faster. At Bethel Seminary, we understand the importance of sharing with youth—our future—the good news of Jesus Christ. That’s why our Young Life Youth Ministry Certificate will further equip you to serve youth while preparing you to pursue a seminary degree.
The Young Life Youth Ministry Certificate prepares you for a seminary master’s degree while providing you with additional training for serving kids and teenagers. You may transfer up to 24 credits you earn through Young Life staff training into the M.A. in Ministry (or M.Div.). Then by completing another 24 credits at Bethel, at a special YL tuition rate, you can complete your degree.

Prepared to Share the Gospel
In our programs, you’ll learn from godly professors with classmates called to serve in youth ministry. Make new friends, increase your biblical interpretation skills, and advance your ability to reach youth and share the Gospel with them. And with the Young Life courses that you can apply to your certificate, you’ll quickly finish the program and have a good start on a seminary master’s degree.
On average, 15-20 hours per week are committed to online programs.
Instruction by scholar-practitioners
