Purpose of job: 
Connect with parents, friends, and alumni and offer info, update contact information, collect prayer requests, and help to raise support for current students. Callers must be a positive representative of Bethel University.

Job duties and responsibilities: 
Royal Legacy Ambassadors will work in a team atmosphere, supporting others’ strengths and abilities. Because each call is unique, the caller must take accurate note of the outcome of each call by noting pledges, life changes, contact information changes, and other information. He/she will also prepare appropriate mailings for those that have been called.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities needed:
Successful callers will be skilled communicators, and will need to speak very clearly by phone and express themselves intelligently about a wide variety of subjects. Training is provided for callers, but a positive attitude, willingness to take suggestions, multi-tasking ability, and an ability to respond quickly to potentially difficult questions are essential.

Key responsibilities include: safe operation of a large passenger vehicle (occasionally during inclement weather); providing on-time transportation of Bethel community members on and off campus; maintaining documentation logs; keeping vehicles fueled and clean. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must have had a U.S. driver's license for a minimum of 3 full years. Requires a good driving record.

Applicants with previous experience driving 12-passenger vans or larger, or those already possessing a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate will be given priority.
