I truly enjoy the people I work with and the sense of community. Additionally, I work with people who are invested in their jobs because they care about students. It is motivating and fulfilling to have purpose in what we do.

I love the myriad of options to fit any interest—the Twin Cities and outstate offer something for everyone from the arts to the outdoors and everything in between. Mostly, I love spending time with my family.
My favorite things about being a Student Success Advisor
In my role as a manager for Student Success and Retention, I enjoy the connection with the students—hearing their stories, supporting them in their educational journey, and celebrating alongside them as they overcome obstacles and reach their goals. I also enjoy diving into systems to ensure that we have the best processes and procedures to create a good experience both for my team and for students.
