Hear the experiences of students involved in The 25.

Joining The 25 has been one of the most influential choices of my college career! I don't think that I would feel nearly as confident, capable, and ready for life after college if it weren't for this program. I've learned how to grow as a leader, stand out in an interview, and stay grounded in what's important as a successful woman in my field.

Eve Lopez, Member of The 25

The 25 has taught me what it means to lead in a way that uplifts others and reflects Jesus. It has also provided me with such a special community. People are like chameleons-they start to become like the people they surround themselves with-so having the opportunity to surround myself with driven young ladies who are leaders on campus has undoubtedly made me a better person!

When I have a student in class who is deeply engaged and proactive in their education, I'm not surprised to discover they're a member of the 25. Students in the 25 learn early to deeply invest in their education at Bethel. They learn to connect their classroom experiences to their mentorships, their internships, and their post-Bethel aspirations. Students in the 25 become leaders by example at Bethel, because they're thinking seriously about what it means to serve Christ during their student years.

As a professor, I believe transformative education not only happens in the classroom, but beyond, often in programs like The 25, which offers students opportunities for leadership, service, and mentorship that help them to hear God's call, discover and hone abilities, grow in self-awareness and self-confidence, and make important connections and relationships within a smaller Christ-centered community.
