When

Weekly from 6-8 p.m. on an evening that works for students’ schedules.

What

Ever wanted to trade a recipe for a conversation? Introducing a community exchange where Bethel students get to swap skills with local immigrant neighbors—no textbooks required!

Each week, our host couple Ronald and Louinie will open their kitchen and living room to share the art of cooking or the joy of a craft, while students bring their gift of gab to help sharpen conversational English.

It's a two-way street of learning, laughter, and maybe a little kitchen chaos, running weekly from 6-8 p.m. on a night that works best for students’ schedules. Come for the language practice, stay for the new friendships and the amazing food!

Who

2-4 interested students with warm hearts and curious palates!

Multigenerational meal and time with kiddos

Where

Grace Church Roseville

When

Mondays, 5-7 p.m.

What

Something cool is happening at Grace Church—young families are doing life together, praying for each other, and cheering each other on. They’re all trying to raise kids who love Jesus.

The crew keeps growing, and now Bethel students are needed to keep it going! We are looking to send students to jump in with this movement. Come for dinner and hang time at 5 p.m., then take the kids to the kids area from 6-7 p.m. while parents dive into God’s Word together. Come be part of the story God's writing in these families!

Compassion Clinic

Where

Roseville Area Middle School

When

November 7, 2026

What

Each year, four churches in Roseville gather to provide a free healthcare clinic to the community, including healthcare, vision, dental, and social services. Volunteers are needed to provide connection to guests, serve food, watch children, and especially translate.

The four churches believe two important things: that God calls us to work together for His Kingdom, and He calls us to practically love our neighbors. We believe this clinic allows us to do both.

Who

Anyone! Healthcare-focused students may especially enjoy volunteering and seeing how God can use those gifts in powerful ways. Additionally, we have a particular skill needed for language translators for neighbors speaking Spanish, Hmong, Somali, Karen.

Christmas Sharing project

Where

Grace Church Roseville

When

December 4 and 5

What

Each year, Grace Church connects with local elementary school social workers to seek out families who could use some extra care during the Christmas season.

We invite these families to Grace to connect with our church, provide an energetic Christmas program, gift the parents with stockings for each child, gift cards to purchase gifts, groceries for the season, and a gift just for them.

The Lord has blessed and grown this event each year, and we anticipate at least 700 kids again this year.

Who

Anyone! Especially in the children’s event and carrying food out to vehicles.
