United Worship Ministries serves Bethel University through the venues of Chapel and Vespers in musical and artistic worship. CAS, CAPS/GS, and Seminary students are eligible to participate on these teams.
Worship Bands
As the primary worship leaders for CAS Chapel and Vespers, United Worship Bands are comprised of student leaders and team members. CAS, CAPS/GS, and Seminary students are eligible to participate on these teams.
United Horns and Strings
We have two student ensembles that periodically minister alongside our worship bands.
- United Horns – brass and woodwind instrumentalists
- United Strings – mixed group of string instrumentalists
Visual and Performing Arts
Visual and Performing Arts is a team of individuals who desire to use their artistic gifts as a form of worship in the venues of Chapel and Vespers. This team of artists helps to communicate the gospel and facilitate worship through a wide variety of creative avenues, broadening the scope of what is commonly thought of as corporate worship. Art forms include but are not limited to: dance, drama, painting, spoken word, set design and graphic design. CAS, CAPS/GS, and Seminary students are eligible to participate on this team.
Audition for United Worship Ministries
Second-year students and beyond can apply and audition for United Worship Ministries. Transfer students and incoming students with 30 or more PSEO credits may also be considered on a case-by-case basis. The selection process begins each spring for the following academic year.
