Personal formation and leadership development are the foundation of our program. Through self-assessments, professional coaching, and structured reflections, you’ll examine and refine your strengths and abilities to grow your leadership effectiveness.

Dissertation research

In our embedded dissertation process, experienced advisors and committee members will support you through the completion of a high-quality dissertation. And you’ll participate in research courses that lead you through each step.

Faith-based environment

Professors integrate their faith into their lessons, modeling the importance of faith-informed, relational leadership while encouraging you to integrate your ethical commitments into your leadership as well.

Learn alongside your peers and be supported by advisors and professors who will support you from admission to graduation and beyond.


Our programs are predominantly completed online and are designed for doctoral students who work full time and have families. Courses start every eight weeks, allowing you to start your program at any time throughout the year and finish in as little as three years, plus a dissertation.

Our Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership program provides an interactive online learning environment for working professionals who serve or want to serve in leadership roles in higher education. You’ll have opportunities to meet your classmates and professors during intensives that immerse you in topics that are vital to your growth as a higher education leader. Alongside your classmates and respected, inspirational professors, you’ll work through topics that are vital to your growth as a higher education leader. You’ll learn to integrate proven practices into your leadership style through coaching, case studies, discussions, presentations, and more.
