Each type of graduate student loan has its own process for borrowing funds. As you prepare to take out loans, we encourage you to borrow only what you need and only what you can repay.
Direct Unsubsidized Loans
If your Financial Aid Offer says you're eligible to borrow a Direct Unsubsidized Loan, learn about how to apply and complete the process.
PLUS Loan
If you need to borrow more than the maximum Unsubsidized Loan amount, contact our office to determine your PLUS Loan eligibility.
If you're eligible, you can learn more about how to apply and complete the process.
Private Loans
If you're not eligible for Direct Unsubsidized Loans, your financial aid offer letter may include private loan eligibility. Learn more about how to apply and complete the process for private loans.
