Your Bethel Community Account is how you identify yourself to computers and services like our network at Bethel, and applications like Moodle and email. You may make changes to your Bethel Community Account at the IAM page iam.bethel.edu.

Banner accounts are special accounts employees use in their work. Banner accounts are provided by the Enterprise Information Systems and Services group.

My Bethel Community Account

You can adjust your access to resources you connect to with your Bethel Community Account using a tool called Identity Access Management, or IAM.

Changing your Bethel Email Address

If you would like a more personal Bethel email address, you may select an email alias.

Managing Group and Shared Mailbox Requests

Making a request in IAM allows you to join digital Groups that grant access to services like Shared Mailboxes. You may be requested by email to approve membership in a digital Group.

Changing Your Password

You can change your password in IAM.

If you have forgotten your password, you will need to perform a password reset by going to IAM and selecting Problems Logging In.

Managing Fileserver Storage Quota

If you receive a message on your computer saying you don't have enough space to save a file, you may have filled up your storage space in the ITS central file storage. IAM has a tool for adding space to your home directory so you can save your work.

Banner and Argos

If you are a Bethel employee or student worker, you may access Bethel information using Banner or Argos. If you need an account for this kind of work, your supervisor will fill out a Banner and Argos account request form.
