First-Class Packages

  • Any piece of mail that measures larger than the flat mail measurements and less than 13 ounces
  • Maximum size 108” length and girth combined
  • Rates start at $4.75 and go up based on package weight, size, and destination
  • Tracking service included

Priority Mail

  • Any mailpiece over 13 ounces
  • Delivery time 1-3 days (not guaranteed)
  • Rates start at $9.35 and go up based on weight and destination
  • Flat-Rate Envelope: $9.65 regardless of destination, 70 lbs limit
  • Small Flat-Rate Box: $10.20 regardless of destination, 70 lbs limit
  • Medium Flat-Rate Box: $17.10 regardless of destination, 70 lbs limit
  • Large Flat-Rate Box: $22.80 regardless of destination, 70 lbs limit

Express Mail

  • The only service that provides guaranteed next day or second day delivery to anywhere in the United States
  • $100 insurance coverage included
  • Rates start at $28.75 and go up based on weight and destination
  • Flat-rate price for Express Mail envelopes is $28.75 regardless of destination

Standard Mail

  • If there is no immediate rush to get your package to its destination, you can save money on postage using standard mail, however delivery times are longer. Generally, delivery times for standard mail are 5-10 days.
  • Includes Media Mail, Library Mail, and Parcel Post:
    • Media Mail: books, film, manuscripts, sound recordings, video tapes, and computer media (such as CDs, DVDs, and diskettes). Media Mail cannot contain advertising.
    • Library Mail: Used to send items between institutions, not for general everyday use.
    • Parcel Post: Generally used for larger and heavier packages. Parcel Post is a cost-effective way to send your packages when time is not an issue. Prices vary depending on weight and destination.
