FAQs
How do I register for classes?
Interim and spring 2023: The registrar will send details about how to register for interim and spring classes. You’ll need to work with your high school counselor to submit another PSEO State Form Notice of Registration (pdf) by October 1. You’ll be paired with an academic advisor in your major and have our advising specialist, Emily Dehmer, as a resource to select courses that fulfill your high school requirements.
Fall 2023: In order to register for fall, you’ll need to complete the Returning Royal Application for fall 2023 and have paid your enrollment deposit. You’ll meet with your academic advisor to plan your schedule and register with other returning Bethel students.
Do I have to re-apply after my PSEO year?
As a PSEO student, you don't have to go through the full application process because we already know you're a great student. If you wish to be considered for admission for fall 2023, complete the Returning Royal Application.
Do I have to pay an enrollment deposit?
Yes, the $300 enrollment deposit will claim your spot at Bethel for fall 2023. This allows you to register for courses and sign up for housing.
What scholarships and financial aid are available after my PSEO year?
Students will receive a Royal Merit Scholarship, which is awarded based on information provided in the application for PSEO. Check out additional Bethel scholarships, including our Music Performance Scholarship, and private scholarships.
The first step in applying for financial aid is completing the FAFSA, which opens on October 1. Financial aid awards will be sent out in January.
Where can I live on campus after my PSEO year?
- If you’d like to live in Freshman Housing (Bodien, Edgren, Getsch, Nelson), follow the New Student Housing Process.
- If you’d like to live in Sophomore Housing (Lissner, Arden, North), follow the Returning Student Housing Process.
