My favorite things about Bethel University
There are many great things about Bethel University. The community is both uplifting and supportive with a faith basis. The professors are very invested in students not only academically but also personally. The athletics department is fantastic—I had the privilege of competing in DIII athletics in my time as a student and the team that I got to be a part of is still a second family to me.
My favorite places on Bethel's campus
My favorite places consist of the trails on campus that go along the lake and through the woods. As a distance runner, I spent much time on these trails and there are so many great trails and parks in the area. Another personal favorite is the commons area where I would often do homework or grab coffee with friends on campus.
My favorite Twin Cities/Minnesota sites
The Twin Cities is just hours away from the north shore of Lake Superior—one of Minnesota's most scenic areas with many state parks and picturesque hikes. I got to go camping there with my RA staff while I worked for Bethel's Residence Life and it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. Locally, there are some great areas such as Minnehaha Falls and Uptown—both are just 20 minutes from Bethel's campus. You can explore the waterfalls, bike around the lakes, tour numerous art museums, taste international cuisines at the global market and much more. If you are looking for some restaurant recommendations, let me know!
Before working at Bethel
I was an Executive Team Leader at Target in the Twin Cities.
