Faith at Bethel

Faith at Bethel

At Bethel, Christ is the compass giving our lives direction.

No matter where we come from, we each find a place where we belong at Bethel. We challenge one another to know where we stand and to each own our faith and convictions as we grow as lifelong learners. We believe the most holistic learning comes from nurturing and developing our minds, bodies, and souls. We think deeply, critically, and creatively about the world around us, and we use our God-given talents to make a difference in that world.

Here, we recognize the Creator’s thumbprint in every human discipline, from physics and business, to history and nursing, to athletics and the arts. As a Christ-guided community, we encourage, enlighten, and empower each other. United in our pursuit of academic and spiritual growth—and in our desire to impact the world—we challenge one another to explore life’s most important questions from a Christian perspective.

What we believe

Our values tell us who we are and our beliefs inform our decisions as we advance in our lives and careers.

Undergrad students find faith is infused in everything we do—from biology to business. We challenge one another to know where we stand and to each own our faith and convictions as we grow as lifelong learners. There’s no better place to do this than within Bethel's supportive community.

Seminary students become strong leaders and develop deep spiritual foundations. Beyond the classroom, their time at Bethel is hands-on training for a fully realized Christian life.

In our graduate and adult undergraduate programs, we welcome students from all faith backgrounds and walks of life. Our faculty teach from a Christian worldview, emphasizing character development so students are prepared to make wise decisions with moral grounding.
