Faith at Bethel

At Bethel, faith is more than an afterthought. It is central to the way we live, play, and learn.

Our graduates leave here mature Christ-followers with an authentic faith that is the foundation for their life.

We recognize the Creator’s thumbprint in every human discipline, from chemistry and calculus to history and the arts. We call upon His guidance at game time and mealtime.

In short, spiritual life at Bethel is in and all around us. In this environment, every moment brings a new opportunity to grow in Christ and live out His world-changing gospel.

What We Believe

Our values tell us who we are and our beliefs inform our decisions as we advance in our lives and careers.

Students are in a chapel service.

Chapel is the heart and soul of spiritual life on the Bethel campus. It's for everyone, and it's not required.

Students sing on stage during Chapel

Our Sunday evening worship service draws high school and college students from across the Twin Cities.

Prayer Initiative

Join us as alumni and friends in the Twin Cities area and throughout the nation lift up Bethel in prayer.

Many undergrad students find they must transition from their childhood faith to forge a new meaningful walk with God. There’s no better place to do this than within Bethel's supportive learning community.

Bethel seminary students become strong leaders and develop deep spiritual foundations. Beyond the classroom, their time at Bethel is hands-on training for a fully realized Christian life.

For adult students in graduate and degree completion programs, Christian faith is not a requirement, although all programs are taught from a Christian worldview. We hope all Bethel students enjoy a rewarding professional life that takes responsibility for creation and serving others.

Spiritual Resources

The Office of Campus Ministries provides valuable opportunities and resources for the Bethel community.

Outreach and Service

At Bethel, we serve God by serving our neighbors, particularly those on the margins of society.
