The M.A. in Counseling Psychology provides the skills to work as a professional therapist or counselor; to use counseling skills in related fields; or to prepare for doctoral study. Students gain a foundation in counseling theory, research, and practice in either a 2- or 3-year schedule, and have the opportunity to specialize through a concentration.
